Breakfast with Santa
The Annual Breakfast with Santa will be held at the Father AA McKinnon Hall on Saturday, December 4 from 7am - 11am.  Bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast, tea, coffee and juice will be served.  Price is $5 for adults, and $3 for children under 12.

Santa Claus Parade
The Santa Claus Parade will be held Saturday, December 4 at 3:30 pm.  Lineup begins at 2:30 at BusyTots DayCare on Main Street.

Treats from Santa
Immediately following the parade, Santa will be at the firehall passing out treats to all children.

The Blackville Community Adult Learning Network held an open house on Monday, November 15 to celebrate the co-location of the Community Adult Learning Program and the Community Access Program at the new location in the Blackville Community Centre.

The event was attended by Miramichi Adult Learning Inc., Director of Operations Doug Cooling, Regional Consultant Ann Morrissy, MALI Chairperson Wes Tingley, Blackville Mayor Glen Hollowood, Southwest Miramichi MLA Jake Stewart, E-Learning Centre staff member Mary McCormack, Academic Centre staff Denise Hallihan and Jennifer Underhill, and students of the Blackville Adult Learning Network.

Blackville Home & School's Annual Christmas Home Tours will be held on Saturday, November 27. The houses for viewing are:

To honour the memory of all Canadians who have served their country in time of war, the following Remembrance Day Services have been planned. All members of the community are invited to participate.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #49 will host three services in the coming days:

The Church Service Memorial will be held on Sunday, November 7 at 7:00 pm at the Miramichi Fellowship Centre, 401 Main Street, Blackville.

On Wednesday, November 10, a service will be held for Blackville School students at 10:00 am in the school gymnasium.

The Remembrance Day commemorative service and moment of silence will be held on Thursday, November 11 at the Blackville School Gymnasium, 12 MacLaggan Drive beginning at 10:45 am. Everyone welcome.
