Women’s Institute Hosts Christmas Craft Sale

The Blackville Women’s Institute hosted their Annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale today, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the United Church Centre. Over a dozen vendors were on hand selling handmade knitted goods, homemade candles, children’s books and gifts, Christmas wreaths and crafts, and baked goods.

The event was well attended this year, and along with it being a great opportunity for local crafters to showcase their products, it allowed many patrons to get a head-start on their Christmas shopping.

This annual event is a fundraiser for the Blackville Women’s Institute, who last year celebrated their 80th Anniversary.
